Allowing the end user to influence the content of the NLPG
With the wider use of the NLPG, the creation and processing of candidate
records has become ever more important. Symphony Bluelight Enterprise
is fully enabled to allow the user to create candidates and export them for
insertion into the NLPG.
The nature of property means that it
is constantly in flux and though new
developments will always be entered
into the NLPG via the Street Naming and
Numbering process, other changes, if
unknown to a local authority, will remain
un-entered into the NLPG.
The candidate process allows for the end
user to quickly and easily inform local
authorities of changes in the NLPG data
so they can update their systems and
thereby update the NLPG.
Allows all receiving authorities
to offer up candidate addresses
for inclusion i.e. FRSs gain from
Police knowledge, Police gain from
National Park’s knowledge etc.
The NLPG can be continually
updated by those that are
responsible for using address data
As gazetteer suppliers to the
FiReControl project, Aligned Assets
help to influence the processes and
methodologies used throughout the
candidate process
