Ensure consistency in all address data, across your organisation
One of the key strengths to the NLPG is the use of the Unique Property
Reference Number (UPRN), which is attached to every single entry. Since
no UPRN can ever be used twice (even when a property is destroyed), you
can be assured of no duplication of addresses.
Symphony Bluelight Enterprise allows
for your non-NLPG address data in
other systems to be tagged with UPRNs
so that these numbers can be used
as a comprehensive system of cross
referencing, giving confident that
all departments are using the same
address.
All results from the address matching process are shown in the viewing pane
This address matching process can
be run in automatic mode that will
intuitively match the majority of
records leaving any remaining records
to be ‘mopped up’ using the interactive
mode.
Ensures that reports on an incident
are recorded against the correct
property
Ensures that the correct
information about an incident
location is forwarded to Firefighters
e.g. chemicals, fireworks factories
Allows for better interdepartmental
working
Aids in strategic planning through
consistent working
Allows for joined up working and
the sharing of data with external
organisations such as county councils
or other emergency services
