The Mapping Services Agreement (MSA) entitles both the Fire & Rescue
Services and the Police Forces of England and Wales to take advantage
of the data from the NLPG. This collection of over 32 million addressable
and non-addressable records is the most complete and accurate dataset
available, being updated daily by over 350 local authorities.
Fundamental to Symphony Bluelight
Professional is its ability to receive NLPG
Change Only Updates (COUs) direct
from the National Hub, which allows for
your organisation’s address data to stay
permanently up to date.
These COUs can be easily exported from
Symphony Bluelight Professional in a
DTF format, which can then be imported
into your back office systems to maintain
consistency across your organisation.
Additionally, it contains a powerful search
facility for easy access to your data, which
includes the ability to search metadata.
Through Symphony Bluelight
Professional you will gain access to
significantly more than just the postal
address and will quickly and easily
have access to a vast amount of
additional NLPG data such as property
classification, geographic coordinates
and a property’s sub-divisions.
Symphony Bluelight Professional uses an
embedded GIS and a fast, customisable
user interface. It allows for the easy
identification of your data via the map
pane with street and property types
displayed with different icons and/or
different colours.
