Aligned Assets Awarded ‘Investors in People’ Accreditation
Aligned Assets has been awarded Investors in People status following assessment (August 2005). The assessor drew attention to the clear link between the development of people and the aims and objectives of the company, at both team and individual levels.
At Aligned Assets, there is a strong culture of continuous improvement. Staff report that the company is strongly committed to supporting their development, especially given its small size and the high cost of external training. The company’s strategies for ensuring equality of opportunity in development are informal but there is a very inclusive approach to all. People confirm that there are no barriers to their development because of their individual circumstances. Without exception, people say that they feel valued.
For our customers, two of the greatest advantages are:
Customer Satisfaction - Investor in People is central to helping employees become customer focused, thus enabling the organisation to effectively meet customer needs at a profit.
Improved motivation - Through greater involvement, personal development and recognition of achievement, motivation is improved. This leads to higher morale, improved retention rates, reduced absenteeism, readier acceptance of change and identification with the organisation beyond the confines of the job.
Carl Nunn, Director of Aligned Assets feels that this sends out a strong message to both our customers and current and prospective employees. As he explains “the Investors in People award signals to both our customers and our staff that we are a professional organisation focused on exceeding expectations”
