Aligned Assets is 10 years old and recently celebrated this anniversary by hosting a customer open day focused on maximising the potential of Local Authority gazetteers.
The event was well attended with guest speakers from Cardiff City Council, Swindon Borough Council, Intelligent Addressing, Data Insight and Astun Technology. The programme was wide and varied covering a range of topics including citizen-centred web services, linking gazetteers to legacy systems, data warehousing and a presentation on how Transport for London has linked the street gazetteers of all of London’s 33 boroughs.
