Symphony iExchange - Linking your systems together
One of the most powerful aspects of Symphony iExchange is its ability to 'talk the language' of other systems and because it is a fully configurable software solution, there is no limit to the systems it can be used to link to.
It uses common data standards such as XML and DTF, which are national and international standards for data transfer. A number of pre-defined XML Transformations have been created for specific external systems, which can be made available to you, or fully customisable output as new XML Transformations can be created by one of our consultants to give output as CSV, XML or simply plain text.
Put simply, if your back office system can import data, Symphony iExchange can be used to update it.
Examples of systems linked to include:
-
CRM
- Command & Control
-
Accounting
-
Facilities Management
- Council Tax / Non-Domestic Rates
- Risk Analysis
-
Human Resources
- Electoral Services
-
Direct Mailing
-
GIS
Extensive research and design of the software has enabled Symphony iExchange to be a very flexible tool with change only updates and the ability to export information to numerous systems including those from:
Northgate
- Steria
- MS Dynamics
IDOX
- Fortek
Swift
- Innogistic
-
Civica
- Intergraph
-
Academy
- Infoterra
-
Lagan
- Sungard
-
Confirm
- SEED
-
Plantech
-
Mayrise
SAP
-
Halarose
Strand
Capita
Symphony iExchange is intentionally intuitive to use, so virtually all of the linking can be done yourself. In fact this happens so often, it's hard for use to keep track of who is linking to whom!
