The ability to search by UPRN
Searching by UPRN or Postcode
Within SinglePoint there is the option for a quick, simple one line search and also for an advanced search that offers the option of searching by field e.g. street name, organisation name, UPRN or postcode.
With the UPRN as the definitive reference for addresses across England and Wales, the ability to search for it has never been more important. By searching by UPRN, you will have a simple way to ensure that everyone is referencing the same property.
Naturally, a UPRN search will return a single, definitive result, but when searching on another fieled e.g. postcode, a threshold can be set for the maximum number of search results. If this threshold is exceeded the results will be divided into drill down categories, by which addresses are displayed by town, then locality and finally individual matches, with each result also showing its UPRN.
