The PSMA is an agreement that will see geographic data from the Ordnance Survey made available to all public sector organisations in England and Wales. It is run by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and creates a scenario whereby the geographic data will be centrally funded.
An important aspect of the PSMA is that it will see the AddressBase products made freely available the whole of the public sector, including local & central government, the emergency services, the NHS and national parks.
How can SinglePoint Help?
The way that Symphony SinglePoint can help all members of the PSMA is by providing a simple method through which the AddressBase products can be accessed and used.
Either via web services or as an organisation-wide look up tool, if you want to fully exploit the power of the AddressBase products, then Symphony SinglePoint is the tool that can be used to achieve that.
