Using web services to increase efficiency
Symphony SinglePoint uses web services to remove the need for different departments within an organisation to each hold their own, individual address data.
The web services allow for your address data to be held centrally, which can then be accessed by all departments via intranet or even by the public via internet connections.
Because your systems will use the Symphony SinglePoint web services, the requirement to manually enter address data will be removed as a simple search will retrieve all the information. The number of keystrokes required will be significantly reduced and the entry of new addresses will take a fraction of the time.

Using Symphony SinglePoint's web services will result in far greater efficiencies as the work of maintaining and updating your organisation's address data, which would previously have been repeated in each department, will only need to be performed by once.
Currently, most organisations will pay large licensing costs for each of their departments to source address data. Through web services there is only one set of data and therefore only ever one license to pay, resulting in considerable savings.
