Street Naming and Numbering (SNN) is a powerful, easy to use tool enabling local authorities to increase productivity. This flexible tool allows you to manage the complete lifecycle of naming a street or numbering a property.
New Street Naming and Numbering cases can be input and any associated documentation uploaded and saved with the case. Street Naming and Numbering fully integrates with Aligned Assets' Symphony Gazetteer.
As Local Authorities have an obligation to allocate names and numbers to houses, the Street Naming and Numbering module is the most efficient method to ensure your location information meets legal requirements.
As data enters the Street Naming and Numbering system, the SNN officer has the option to accept or reject any applications. This is particularly useful when the Street Naming and Numbering process needs to filter planning applications to exclude non-SNN cases (such as conservatories). In addition, rejected applications may be sent to the planning officer and the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) custodian as they may contain useful information (e.g. advertising hoardings).
FEATURES
New proposals, (which may include multiple changes to both streets and properties) can be managed under a single Street Naming and Numbering case.
Automatic distribution letters or emails. Notes are added to the system which can be merged with letters or emails.
Street Naming and Numbering cases may be uploaded to the hub for the allocation of postcodes. The data is then exported to the NLPG Advanced for both postcodes and final notifications.
The Street Naming and Numbering module is completely configurable to your processes. As there is no generic procedure for Street Naming and Numbering, our SNN module is completely adaptable to your requirements.
Since a Street Naming and Numbering Officer will deal with the same consultants, a functionality to save contacts in a Global Contact List greatly increases efficiency, saving time and money.
Contacts may be added, updated or deleted from the contact list. These details are used to configure steps with approvers and notifiers.
SNN Officers can define application steps and allocate consultants. These steps can be assigned to Street Naming and Numbering cases. When the user sets a step to an Application and submits for approval, consultants defined under the selected step will be contacted.
