iExchange is a fundamental part of the Symphony Suite. It has been designed to be scalable and flexible. It allows you to share Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) data from the Symphony Gazetteer with more users in your local authority or wider to external organisations such as District, Unitary and County Councils, Housing Associations, the Emergency Services and of course the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG) Hub.
iExchange is the key to removing departmental barriers that inhibit the full implementation of t-Government. The majority of data within local government is based on location. iExchange ensures that all departments are working from the same location data.
Developed by Aligned Assets in direct response to Cardiff County Council's requirement to link to external systems, iExchange has evolved from the simple principle of exporting all information maintained in the Symphony Gazetteer. Extensive research and design of the software has enabled iExchange to be a very flexible tool. iExchange can be used to provide both automated updates to the NLPG Hub and updates to your back office systems in both DTF 6.3 and DTF 7.3 formats.

SIMPLE 2 STEP INTEGRATION |
- Set up to e-mail recipients to receive updates regarding additions, modifications and deletions of address records made within the Symphony Gazetteer.
- Use XML and DTF interface standards to update your LLPG data held in external systems.
Working in close collaboration we will install your software and provide training on how best to use iExchange to meet your needs.
For example; you may wish to integrate with Council Tax systems, or perhaps send address notifications to the County Council. Whatever your requirement, Aligned Assets will equip you with the software and training to unlock the benefits of your LLPG data.
