iValidate allows you to take control of your data. It eliminates the rejection of files by the National Hub and ensures that incorrect or inconsistent procedures are highlighted rapidly. With iValidate, you can eliminate errors at source.
iValidate may be used directly with the Symphony Gazetteer for Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
Analysis of the LLPG has become a key part of the LLPG custodian’s role. Examples include the constant monitoring of Key Performance Indicators to enable progress reporting and the identification of common errors. Resolution of these issues increases the accuracy of their data, and maximises its potential throughout the Local Authority.
The iValidate application will help your Local Authority ascertain any areas you may wish to focus editing, as well as providing you with a detailed breakdown of the LLPG. By using the iValidate application you are able to produce a standard report which may be used at Project Meetings and as an indicator of changes to the LLPG.

WHAT QUALITY CHECKS ARE MADE? |
There are numerous checks made to each of the BS7666 record types. Common checks include:
- NSG Type 3 or 4 streets with ESUs not also assigned to a Type 1 or 2 street
- BLPU checks such as:
- Count BLPUs by RPA & Logical Status
- BLPUs with co-ordinates at Start or End of Street and not RPA 4
- BLPUs with same co-ordinates as other BLPUs
- LPI, Cross Reference and Street checks
Summary information including number of streets, ESUs, BLPUs, BLPU Provenances etc.

LLPG custodians need to be abe to analyse LLPG. iValidate is the best tool for the job. As an alternative to buying iValidate, a consultant can provide a one-off Health Check of your LLPG data by running iValidate queries. A detailed report is generated featuring a summary of the LLPG and areas in which your Local Authority will wish to concentrate.
