The addition of user defined fields is performed through the simple and intuitive XDM Management Console. It is through this that all additional information about a
Property can be entered.
An unlimited number of data
categories can be added using the
XDM Management Console. Within
each Category, columns of all
standard data types are supported
(e.g. Integers, Floats, Text) as well as
lookup columns and filtered lookup
columns.
Using the XDM Management Console, data can be entered into
the Schema tables in a number of different ways:
Imported automatically using
the Xtended Data Module
importer
Generated from a set of Oracle
GIS Layers by spatial reference
to a Property. This means that every time the
Property geometry changes,
the data created by spatial
relationship is automatically
updated.
Generated from a table in
another Oracle schema
Manually, via the Xtended Data
Tab and Grid in either of the Aligned Assets gazetteer management systems - Symphony
iManage or Symphony Bluelight Gazetteer.
Additionally, data can be entered manually, via the Xtended Data
Tab and Grid in either gazetteer management system.
Data entry using this method is very similar to the methods used to manually enter any other data in any gazetteer management system such as BLPUs or Cross References.
