Our solutions for the housing sector were developed in coordination with Cardiff Council, who approached us with a requirement to design and build a new property and asset management system. Their legacy system was acknowledged as being outdated and from their list of requirements, we created their current solution - Symphony PMS.
We have expanded this solution to enable its use by all local authorities, housing associations and the private sector. |
Local Authority Housing
Local authorities hold and manage large property estates ranging from
schools, leisure centres, social housing and parks not to mention investment
properties such as shops and industrial estates - even pubs. All of these are
necessary income earners for a local authority, yet all this land and property
requires vast management resources to run, let alone run efficiently.
Symphony PMS not only offers a
complete system through which a local
authority can manage their property
portfolio, but has been designed with
simplicity and efficiency in mind, making
it easy and intuitive to use.
Housing Associations
Housing associations have varied property portfolios and a need for efficient, accurate management of tenants and maintenence. Symphony PMS is the ideal solution for these requirements and its easy integration with 3rd party GIS enhances its application and functionality.
The NLPG and National Register of Social Housing (NROSH)
If you are submitting your housing data to NROSH, in order to aid its ongoing accuracy, all Registered Social Landlords (RSL) are requested to include Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRNs) with their submissions. Not only does this provide a unique identifer, but helps to link NROSH data to data from other sources such as CORE and council tax bands.
The NLPG is the primary source of UPRNs and we can provide Housing Associations with NLPG data for as little as £660 per year. See our NLPG Pages for more information.

NLPG Data for Property Management
The NLPG is the authoritative, national address
list that provides unique identification of land
and property and conforms to BS7666 (2006).
The NLPG is updated on a continual basis by
every local authority in England and Wales
- the bodies with statutory responsibility for
street naming and numbering, with updates
available every working day.
